Beckett does not publish population statistics for encapsulation errors, so no legitimate “1-of-X” number can be assigned to it. Public examples do exist, but upside-down BGS encapsulations appear to be an uncommon and highly unusual quality-control anomaly.

A grading company famous for finding the smallest imperfections created the imperfection itself.

This card was returned directly from Beckett encapsulated 180 degrees upside down relative to the correctly oriented BGS label.

The card itself is not being represented as a factory printing error. The unusual feature is the Beckett encapsulation/holder error, with the card sealed upside down inside the BGS slab.

The slab has not been opened or altered since it was returned from Beckett.
